Lana Hart will be showing her works at The Shed Row Market ART FAIR
Saturday, July 9, 2011, 10am-4:30pm Fields & Flowers Farm, 900 – 232nd Street, Langley
Expecting that warm summer weather will finally be here, the Fields and Flowers Farm Store is delighted to host The Shed Row Market ART FAIR. This one-day event will showcase 15 talented artists from around the Lower Mainland, each with a unique style, vision and passion for their art. Come visit with the artists, watch them work and discover something new.
Artists Marney-Rose Edge and Tas Antonopoulous, who regularly exhibit in the Fields and Flowers Farm Store, will be joined by Linzy Arnott, Enda Bardell, Elsa Bluethner, Crystal Deshaies, Lana Hart, Jennifer Harwood, Wendy Mould, Ken Nash, and Larry Tillyer. Four Langley artists, Lalita Hamill, Vivian Harder, Bryan Robberts and Deborah Strong round out the group.
The Shed Row Market ART FAIR is a wonderful chance to view fine works of art as well as watch artists paint in the pastoral farm setting of south Langley. It’s also a perfect opportunity to start or enrich your art collection. This event will run rain or shine: weather permitting, the artists will set up outdoors but will move into barn area if raining. The Fields and Flowers Farm Store will be open and will offer samples of the farm’s crabapple jam and bags of carrots for the horses.
The Shed Row Market was born in 2009 from the desire to provide much needed support to adoptable ex-race horses through the New Stride Thoroughbred Adoption Foundation. Fields and Flowers Farm owners Barb and Onno are long standing supporters of the New Stride and the proud owners of Musing, a former racehorse and National champion sport sire. The harvest Shed Row Market is held at Fields and Flowers on the first weekend in October and is a major fundraiser for New Stride. Donations to New Stride are always greatly appreciated at any time of the year and will be accepted during the Art Fair.
